This interactive table designed by ESI Design is a really thoughtful implementation of an elegant form factor which blends into its physical environment. The screen size and orientation nicely supports the subject matter (aerial view maps) and the communal railing encourages a multiple person interaction which enables the sales person to use the interactive while participating in a dialog. Table based interactive experiences are starting to become more feasible and cost effective. With multi-touch screens finally making their way to the marketplace, true group interactive surfaces can be designed and deployed into any space which can accommodate a table. Look for a lot more interactive tables to start popping up within your local third space environments.
